LessonStream is site operated by me – Jamie Keddie – a self-employed (autónomo) individual based in Barcelona Spain (International VAT Number: ESX3897114V)
Your privacy is incredibly important me. The only information that I ever ask for is information that I need to run this small online business and provide you with a service.
Here is everything you need to know:
1. Information that I collect from users/customers

- Your email address
2. The LessonStream Post
This is a bimonthly email that goes out to those who sign up to the LessonStream website (it’s free). The emails offer thoughts and practical ideas that will be of interest to teachers. Sometimes, I will also inform you about what’s going on in the LessonStream Membership.
3. The Fishbowl Weekly
This is a weekly email that goes out to LessonStream members. If has information about new lesson plans, webinars, discussions, course content and events in the LessonStream Membership.
4. Opting out
Of course, you are free to unsubscribe at any time. Just click on ‘unsubscribe’ at the bottom of any mailing or send an email to jamie@lessonstream.com
5. MailChimp
This is the emailing platform that I use to send out the above-mentioned emails. Your name and email address are stored on the MailChimp database. MailChimp is a very well established platform and has security safeguards in place.
6. Google Analytics
I use Google analytics to monitor traffic on my website.
7. Stripe
If, as a customer, you pay with credit or debit card, your transaction is overseen by Stripe. This is a standard way for individuals like myself to make payment transactions possible. If you choose to make payments in this way, you payment information will be stored securely by Stripe. Although I can access information about payment dates and amounts, I cannot access sensitive information relating to credit/debit cards. 8. PayPal
Customers may also choose to pay via PayPal. In this case, your payment information will be stored by PayPal. Although I can access information about payment dates and amounts, I cannot access sensitive information relating to credit/debit cards.
9. Data Protection
Your personal information collected from payment forms or mailing list signup forms is never shared, sold or rented to anyone, ever.
10. Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer when you visit a website. In some cases, these are essential for the website to work properly. LessonStream uses the following: a navigation cookie to remember which page you are viewing and previous pages viewed, as well as to allow members to log in to the membership area; a display cookie to make the site responsive and display correctly; Google Analytics cookies – see here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/types?hl=en-US
11. Your data

12. Deletion of your data
If you want your data to be deleted from any of the above platforms or websites, please contact me at jamie@lessonstream.com and I’ll do asap.
